Dr. Glenn Newsome is an Associate Lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc., a national provider of NP Certification Preparation and ongoing continuing education for healthcare providers.
Dr. Newsome is a Pulmonologist, board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, ABIM – Pulmonary Disease and ABIM – Critical Care Medicine and currently maintains a private practice in North Andover, MA. He is a Clinical Instructor at Tufts Medical School, Boston, MA. He is a Senior Staff member at Holy Family Hospital and Medical Center and Lawrence General Hospital as well as a Consultant Staff at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Newsome was the former Chief of Medicine at Lawrence General Hospital. He is the recipient of the Paul R. Wilner Price award for Outstanding Fellow, 1989 and the Award for Outstanding Care for HIV Infected Patients, 1992. He is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and American College of Physicians. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Newsome is a frequent speaker at National NP and Medical conferences.
