Robert Blumm is an Associate Lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc., an international provider of an international provider of NP Certification Exam Review and Advanced Practice Update and continuing education for healthcare providers.
Mr. Blumm is a certified Physician Assistant and currently practices in Long Island, New York. He is a Clinical Instructor of Surgery and Emergency Medicine at Hofstra University, Long Island, NY and a TEAM Instructor for NP-ATLS Program preparation.
Mr. Blumm is a founding member and current President of the American College of Clinicians. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Association of Surgeon Assistants, and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants. He is a charter member of numerous professional PA organizations at the national and local levels.
Mr. Blumm is the author of over 100 editorials and clinical articles and serves as Contributing Editor for NYSSPA News, Sutureline, Surgical Physician Assistant, Physician Assistant Journal and Clinicians Review Journal. He serves as Editorial Board Member for Advance for PAs, Surgical Physician Assistant and Clinicians News. Mr. Blumm is a Veteran who served as a United States Army Combat Medic in the Vietnam War from 1965-1967.
Mr. Blumm has presented workshops in collaboration with other FHEA associates on the topics of Suturing and Wound Management, Common Office Procedures, and Common Dermatologic Procedures. He provides various emergency care and surgical lecture topics and has presented at numerous regional and national NP and PA conferences, including the National Conference of Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Practice Clinicians (NCNP-ACC),the American Conference of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP) as well as the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.
