Wendy L. Wright is a Senior Associate Lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc., a national provider of NP Certification Preparation and ongoing continuing education for healthcare providers. She presents the NP Certification and Practice Preparation Course, Pharmacology Update as well as several of the Clinical Skills Modules.

Ms. Wright is certified as both a Family and Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is the owner of a family practice located in Amherst, NH. She is the recipient of Excellence in Research and Excellence in Clinical Practice awards and was chosen by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 1999 to receive the New Hampshire Excellence in Practice award. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has presented at numerous regional, national, and international conferences to outstanding reviews and acts as a consultant to various health-related companies.

Ms. Wright is a faculty member on Medscape’s Ask the Expert Nurse Practitioner web site and an editorial board member for Medscape’s e-journal. She is a member of the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association and Sigma Theta Tau. She has served as a defense expert witness for medical malpractice cases involving nurse practitioners.

Ms. Wright’s publications include articles and monographs on the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and migraine.  Ms. Wright has also developed and appeared in a number of Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc. produced video programs including Expert Exam: Physical Examination of the Adult and Expert Exam: The Primary Care Neurologic Exam. Ms. Wright has also developed and recorded numerous pharmacology audio programs, which are available through Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc.

She has presented workshops in collaboration with other FHEA associates on the topics of Suturing and Wound Management, Common Office Procedures, and Common Dermatologic Procedures. She presents on a wide variety of pharmacology and clinical topics in addition to those listed.
