Sally K. Miller, PhD, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, CNE, FAANP is a senior lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc. (FHEA), an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers. She presents the FHEA Nurse Practitioner Certification Exam Review and Advanced Practice Update for adult, family, gerontological, and acute care nurse practitioners as well as pathophysiology and pharmacology courses. More than 60,000 nurse practitioners have used the Fitzgerald review course to successfully prepare for certification.
Dr. Miller is a certified acute care, adult, family and gerontological nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is the owner and senior nurse practitioner of Sahara Family Practice, Las Vegas, Nevada, where she remains active in clinical practice. Dr. Miller is a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and a clinical professor at the Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Miller is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Academy of Correctional Health Professionals, the Nevada Nurses’ Association, and the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties. She has been published in several nurse practitioner journals including
Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Biological Research for Nursing, Journal of Geriatric Physical Therapy, Journal of Primary Health Care, Journal of Correctional Health Care, Advance for Nurse Practitioners, and many more. She has served as an article reviewer for many of these publications as well. Dr. Miller is an editorial review board member for
Creative College Teaching Journal. She is the author of

Dr. Miller has presented a wide variety of pharmacology and clinical topics at local and national conferences, including the National Conference of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the University of Colorado Annual Nurse Practitioner Symposium. In addition, Dr. Miller presents workshops in collaboration with other FHEA associates on the topics of Suturing Basics for Primary and Urgent Care Providers and Suturing: Beyond the Basics, which are
held several times per year around the country. She has recorded the audio programs
