Terry Mahan Buttaro, MS, ANP-BC, GNP-BC, FAANP, is an associate lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc. (FHEA), an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education. She presents the FHEA Comprehensive Gerontological Update. 

Ms. Buttaro is an adult and gerontological nurse practitioner certified in both critical care and emergency room nursing. She teaches in the School of Health Sciences at Simmons College, Boston, MA, and maintains a clinical practice with Coastal Medical Associates, Salisbury, MA.

She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau, and the National Conference of Gerontological Nurse Practitioners.

Ms. Buttaro has been published in several journals including Public Health Nursing. She presents a variety of topics including pharmacology, geriatric care, long-term care at local and national conferences including the Gerontological Nurse Practitioners’ Association Nurse Educators in Practice Settings and Schools of Nursing, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and Simmons College.
