Linda S. Blasen, MS, ACNP-BC, FNP-BC, is an associate lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, Inc. (FHEA), an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers. She presents several clinical workshops in collaboration with other FHEA associates including Common Office Procedures, Splinting, Wrapping and Casting of the Upper and Lower Extremities, Joint and Soft Tissue Injections, Suturing and Wound Management, X-Ray Interpretation, Assessing the Abdomen, Assessing the Eye, and Common Dermatologic Procedures. She also lectures on topics related to endocrinology, allergy and immunology, renal functions, and ophthalmology.

Ms. Blasen is certified as an acute care nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner. She is the primary care and nurse anesthesia instructor at the University of South Florida and the past acute care nurse practitioner program director for the university. She also serves on the university’s Professional Conduct Committee, Primary Care Committee, and Faculty Council. She practices as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in the Emergency Department at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, FL, with EmCare.

Ms. Blasen is an active member of the American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association, and the Southwest Coast Council for Advanced Nursing Practice. She is also a member of The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International.
