The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state partners are investigating a Salmonella Typhimurium outbreak connected to cucumbers. Multiple recalls have been issued.

Many of the implicated cucumbers were grown by Agrotato, S.A. de C.V. in Sonora, Mexico. Whole cucumbers, sliced cucumbers, wraps and salads containing cucumbers are all part of the recall. The FDA is actively coordinating with additional importers who received shipments of cucumbers from Agrotato to assess whether further recalls are needed.

What Consumers Should Do
- Do not eat recalled cucumbers or foods made with them.
