Dr. Margaret Fitzgerald DNP, FNP-BC, NP-C, FAANP, CSP, FAAN, DCC, FNAP
Dr. Margaret Fitzgerald is the founder, president, and principal lecturer with Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, (FHEA), an international provider of nurse practitioner certification preparation and continuing education for healthcare providers.
Dr. Sally K. Miller, PhD, AGACNP, AGPCNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Miller is certified as an adult-gerontology acute care, adult-gerontology primary care, family, and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She practices in rural health with NextGen Family Care Clinic and iCarePsychiatry in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Miller is a fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and a clinical professor at the Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions, Philadelphia, PA. Additionally, Dr. Miller is the APRN consultant/investigator to the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
Dr. Margaret Bobonich, DNP, FNP-C, DCNP, FAANP
Dr. Margaret Bobonich, is known for her innovative and successful dermatology educational program development. As a co-founder of the Center for Advanced Practice Dermatology, she launched the first, live DCNP Review Course in 2019 and served as the course director. The DCNP Review Courses and the Practice to Pass program became a critical educational tool for dermatology NPs striving to elevate their level of professionalism by achieving national certification. In 2023, Dr. Bobonich’s commitment to dermatology education has expanded to include all levels of dermatology nursing practice and physician assistants.

This 8-hour program meets the requirements of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, which requires that effective June 27, 2023 all prescribers of controlled substances must have a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education in the assessment and management of opioid or other substance use disorder in order to apply for or renew DEA registration. The program includes principles of pain management, opioid prescribing, opioid risk assessment, legislative issues, and management of opioid-use disorder with medically assisted therapy.
