Your privacy is a very important priority at Fitzgerald Health Education Associates, LLC. While doing business with Fitzgerald, we gather nonpublic personal information from you such as name, mailing address, phone, e-mail and payment information. Appropriate use of the information is at the heart of our ability to provide you with exceptional customer service whenever and however you contact us. We want you to understand how we manage your information so that you can have confidence that your information is handled discretely.
Communications with our customers
Individuals and organizations in Fitzgerald’s customer file are initially set to receive periodic mail and email from the company including newsletters, announcements and catalogs about products pertinent to the NP role. Each such communication gives the receiving individual the opportunity to opt-out of all such future communication with the exception of notices directly concerned with a specific order or query from that individual reporting order status or answering the query.

Security
We limit the collection, use and retention of your information to what we believe is necessary. Access to information is limited within Fitzgerald to those employees who need it to process your requests for information, orders, and invoices. Each is assigned a separate login and password. All logins and accesses to data files are logged for audit purposes. There are various additional levels of password protection depending on the functions being performed. All Fitzgerald computers employ the latest security technology including, but not limited to, firewalls, security patches, security agent software to detect malware and computer viruses.
Internal customer databases are never connected to the internet. All transfer of web store order information is performed by a disconnected process developed by Fitzgerald. Information is retained on the web store for a limited time period and sensitive information is encrypted. Payment information is transmitted to the banking system using the latest and most secure technology available.
External Use
Occasionally, other organizations will wish to communicate with you through Fitzgerald. First, the product or information must, in Fitzgerald’s opinion, be of high value and professionally relevant to our customer base: primary care providers. Second, any communication to our customers is sent either through Fitzgerald computers or from Fitzgerald’s certified mail fulfillment service. Customer data is never directly shared with anyone unless directed by a court of law. Mail lists or other customer information are never given directly to outside parties. The only way another organization is able to acquire either your e-mail address or mailing address is if you respond directly to that organization’s message or mailing that Fitzgerald sent on behalf of that organization.
Use of Cookies
Fitzgerald uses cookies to maintain a customer’s online session while in the Fitzgerald family of websites. This cookie allows customers to freely navigate among Fitzgerald sites. Cookies are never shared with outside websites and are encrypted to avoid inappropriate use by others. If a customer disables cookies on their browser, they will not be able to log in to online learning or purchase items placed in the Fitzgerald shopping cart. Customers can enable cookies while in Fitzgerald websites and disable cookies after the Fitzgerald online session is completed.
